Member Profile

Mr. Akao joined NXLRIC in 2005. He specializes in business planning and operations management. He has handled the development of business plans and operational management systems in logistics, development of new logistics services, promotion enhancement, profitability assessment of business plans, and industrial structure and marketing research of logistics and customers’ industries. In his proposal, he does not only take market environment trends into account but logical investigation of issues as well. He always tries his best to verify his hypotheses on site, not on the desk.

Prior to NXLRIC, he worked at Resona Research Institute Co., Ltd. and led business skills training program for managerial positions candidates and successors of small and medium businesses. Before Resona, he worked at Kanebo Cosmetics Inc, where he was engaged in trend analysis of the market, consumers and demand, as well as marketing and branding strategy planning.

He holds BA in Law from Waseda University and MBA from Rikkyo University. He is a Certified Japan SME Management Consultant.
