Mr. Asai has been working at NXLRIC since completing graduate school in 1993. He is specialized in a wide range of research areas, including air, sea and land transport, airports and ports, forwarding business, Third-Party Logistics (3PL), and alliances and M&A among logistics companies. He is also experienced in international logistics research and field surveys abroad. His customers include the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism (MLIT), local authorities and logistics organizations, such as the Japan International Freight Forwarders Association (JIFFA), the Japan Association for Logistics and Transport, the Japan Trucking Association. He is responsible for the international freight transport section in our quarterly publication, “Prospects for Freight Transportation”.

He holds MA in Law from Keio University.
