Background

Mr. Inoue joined NXLRIC in 2006. He is the head of Research & Consulting Unit 4 and the inventor of Logitan, NXLRIC’s smart device tool to digitize warehouse operations. Research & Consulting Unit 4 develops and sells Logitan and related services to logistics and supply-chain sector worldwide. Research & Consulting Unit 4 is an in-house venture of NXLRIC, and he has been managing rapidly growing business and motivated team since 2015.

Before inventing Logitan, the first 8 years at NXLRIC, he was one of the top reputable logistics and supply-chain consultants. He led the teams of consultants and conducted many warehousing and delivery-network optimization projects every year. He often received honors and awards from customers and associations, notably his project received “Excellent Award” from Canon and “President Prize” from Epson by establishing “Canon-Epson Joint Delivery Scheme.” Nikon’s “President Prize” was also given to his project by improving its whole logistics extensively.

Prior to NXLRIC, he was a system engineer at MRI Research Associates Inc., a subsidiary of Mitsubishi Research Institute. He took project management roles in various IT projects, including development of data management system, and consultation and implementation of production management system for Japanese manufacturers. Prior to that, he spent 6 years at Sanyo Electric, where he initially started his career as a product design and development engineer of automatic vending machines.

He holds BS in Mechanical Engineering from Meiji University. He is a Certified Japan SME Management Consultant.
