Background

1997: Joined Mitsubishi Logistics Corporation
Accumulated extensive on-site knowledge of logistics processes related to import and export operations, including duties at an import/export distribution center, supervision of container terminal operations for ocean-going vessels, and oversight of on-board cargo handling, as well as operations at export packing facilities. Leveraging this expertise, I spent the following 12 years as a sales representative managing logistics projects involving import/export and international transportation within Japan. Utilizing in-depth field knowledge in areas such as “warehousing and distribution centers,” “port transportation,” and “international maritime and air transportation,” I was involved in the establishment of import/export hubs, the review and reconstruction of international transport routes, the development and improvement of shipping containers, operational improvements, standardization of work processes at logistics sites, and support for customer transport management outsourcing. The range of handled cargo included plant equipment (heavy and oversized items), various machinery, automotive parts, chemicals, food products, packaging materials, entertainment industry goods, and household items.

2015: Joined Nittsu Research Institute and Consulting, Inc. (at the time)
Primarily provided support services to manufacturers across various industries, including examining and optimizing the location, integration, and consolidation of distribution centers, improving the efficiency of storage and cargo handling operations, and standardizing operations (creating work procedures and embedding them into clients’ routine operations).
