Background
Mr. Tasaka has been acting as Research Fellow with NXLRIC since he completed his assignment as Senior Managing Director in charge of all the research and consulting business of the company in May, 2018.
He has been working with NXLRIC since he came back to Japan in July, 2008 from the United States where he had worked with Nippon Express U.S.A., Inc. three times for 17 years in total. In the United States, he was in charge of and/or involved in various kinds of logistics projects and operations such as international multimodal transportation between Asian countries and North American countries, manufacturing transplantations of automotive manufacturers and their suppliers from Japan to the North America, contract logistics amongst major manufacturers, wholesalers and retailers in the North America and so on.
For the latest 10 years with NXLRIC, he has mainly worked for developing more global research and consulting business based on his experience through hiring new experienced human resources, amending the organization, enhancing international business and even quite frequently participating overseas field trips to countries and areas in ASEAN, BRICS, NAFTA and EU countries as a researcher.
In addition, he has spent a lot of energy for dispersing international transportation and logistics knowledges and information in Japan through acting as a lecturer at seminars of industrial associations, graduate classes of universities and so on.
