Background
Education:
2003: Graduated from Doshisha University, Faculty of Letters, Department of Sociology
Professional Experience:
2003: Joined Hitachi Transport System, Ltd. (currently Logisteed, Ltd.). Worked in the Information Systems Department, primarily engaged in planning, proposing, developing, implementing, and maintaining logistics operations using logistics information systems such as Warehouse Management Systems (WMS). Involved in the launch and improvement of 3PL operations for manufacturers, trading companies, and retail companies both domestically and internationally (mainly in the Asia region). Additionally, supported the operation and improvement of in-house logistics at Japanese manufacturers’ factories from an information systems perspective at the company’s European subsidiary. Also participated in the restructuring of the company’s ICT infrastructure, handling planning, internal proposals, and implementation, as well as negotiations with internal departments, partner companies, and external vendors.
2013: Joined Nittsu Research Institute and Consulting, Inc. (at the time). Engaged in a wide range of logistics improvement projects for the manufacturing and retail distribution industries, as well as supporting logistics reforms from the visualization of logistics issues. Also involved in various logistics trend surveys.
