    <Purposes of Use of Personal Information>(As of February 2026)

    • Planning, development, analysis, research (including information collection from sources, such as surveys, creation and reporting of deliverables)

    • Operation of various events
    • Information regarding the services, products, and latest news (topics) of our company, affiliated companies, and our business partners (including distribution or sending of email newsletters, direct mail, telephone calls, promotional materials, and printed matter) (including the use of personal information obtained through the exchange of business cards for the purpose of providing such information).

    The above are the purposes of use for retained personal data.
    The scope of use of Individual Number is limited to specific administrative tasks related to social security, taxation, and disaster response. Specific administrative tasks refer to the inclusion of employees’ Individual Number in documents such as withholding tax slips, payment records, health insurance and employee pension acquisition notifications, etc., submitted to administrative agencies and health insurance societies in accordance with laws and regulations. Exceptions include:

    • When financial institutions make payments in the event of a severe disaster
    • When necessary to protect a person’s life, body, or property, and obtaining consent is difficult or impossible

    We may record telephone conversations to accurately understand and respond to customer opinions and requests. Recorded information will be promptly deleted once it is no longer needed for the intended purpose.

    For safety and security purposes, we may record video using surveillance cameras during the provision of our business and operations. Recorded information will be stored for a certain period and then promptly deleted.

  2. Use of Personal Information

    We will use personal information within the scope necessary to achieve the specified purposes of use. If we use personal information beyond this scope, we will notify the individual and obtain consent before doing so. Exceptions include:

    • When notification or public disclosure of the purpose of use may harm the life, body, property, or other rights and interests of the individual or a third party
    • When notification or public disclosure of the purpose of use may harm the rights or legitimate interests of the Company
    • When cooperation is required with national or local government agencies or their contractors in performing duties prescribed by law, and obtaining consent may hinder the performance of such duties
    • When the purpose of use is clearly evident from the circumstances of acquisition

    Individual Number will only be used for specific administrative tasks related to social security, taxation, and disaster response, and will not be used beyond the necessary scope.

  3. Acquisition and Use of Personally Related Information

    We may acquire and use personally related information [information about a living individual that does not fall under personal information, pseudonymized information, or anonymized information (Personal Information Protection Act, Article 2, Paragraph 7)] using technologies such as cookies and JavaScript. This includes non-identifiable attribute information (age, gender, occupation, residential area, etc.), device information, user behavior history within services (accessed URLs, content, reference order, browsing history, etc.), and location information obtained with user consent when using smartphones, etc.
    Users who wish to disable cookies or JavaScript can change their device settings, but please note that some service functions may become unavailable.
    When receiving personally related information that is expected to be obtained as personal data, we will, in principle, ensure that the provider has obtained the individual’s consent to provide such information as personal data.

  4. Contacting or Approaching the Individual

    When contacting or approaching an individual using personal information, we will notify the individual and obtain consent, and do so lawfully and appropriately within the scope necessary to achieve the specified purposes of use. Exceptions include:

    • When handling personal information entrusted in whole or in part, within the scope necessary to achieve the purposes of use
    • When the purpose of use is clearly evident from the circumstances of acquisition and the information is used without notification or public disclosure
    • When required by law
    • When necessary to protect life, body, or property and consent is difficult to obtain
    • When necessary for public health or child welfare and consent is difficult to obtain
    • When cooperation is necessary for government duties and obtaining consent may hinder such duties
  5. Provision of Personal Information to Third Parties

    When providing personal data to third parties, we will notify the individual and obtain consent in advance, and do so within the scope necessary to achieve the specified purposes of use. Exceptions include:

    • When obtaining consent is difficult and legal procedures are followed
    • When providing publicly disclosed information about corporate officers/shareholders
    • When subcontracting within the necessary scope
    • When providing data due to business succession within the same purpose of use
    • When jointly using data under contractual arrangements
    • When required by law
    • When necessary to protect life, body, or property and consent is difficult to obtain
    • When necessary for public health or child welfare and consent is difficult to obtain
    • When cooperation is necessary for government duties and obtaining consent may hinder such duties
  6. Outsourcing the Handling of Personal Information

    We may outsource the handling of personal data in whole or in part to ensure smooth business operations and provide better services. In such cases, we will select contractors recognized as handling personal data appropriately, and stipulate necessary management and confidentiality matters in contracts.

  7. Voluntariness of Providing Personal Information

    If the personal information necessary to achieve the purposes of use is not provided, we may be unable to provide services appropriately, and the purposes of use may not be achieved.

  8. Notification of Matters Regarding Retained Personal Data and Requests for Disclosure, etc.

    We will respond without delay to requests from individuals for notification of purposes of use, disclosure, correction, addition, deletion, suspension of use, erasure, and suspension of provision to third parties regarding retained personal data. We will also comply with requests for disclosure of third-party provision records.

    We will verify the identity of the requester using documents such as a driver’s license, health insurance certificate, passport, employee ID, resident certificate, individual number card, seal registration certificate, or foreign resident registration certificate.

    Personal information obtained in connection with requests will be used only within the scope necessary to respond, and submitted documents will be returned after the response is completed, with other information appropriately managed and destroyed thereafter.

  9. Safety Management Measures

    We implement safety management measures in accordance with ISMS (Information Security Management System) standards, including organizational, human, physical, and technical measures, based on JIS Q 27001 and ISO/IEC 27001 requirements. These include establishing internal rules, organizational structures, regular inspections and audits, employee training, prevention of unauthorized access, and understanding of external environments.
