"Short-term Survey of Freight Movement in Japan" is our original survey ? smaller version of National Freight Transport Survey. The survey was originally started in 1963 (semi-annual basis) and since 2002 it has been conducted in quarterly basis. Questionnaires are sent to 2500 companies (manufacturers and whole-sellers) and we compute answers (trends) into "index"; Volume, Transport Mode, Inventory, Freight Charges and Portion of Logistics Cost.
Surveys are published both in paper and online periodically.
